The Employee Punch Clock app works for both Android & IOS and helps employees record each daily clock-in and clock-out from their workplace. In real-time, hourly work is converted into a dollar amount giving employees the ability to see how much money is accumulated each and every shift. 

This application also functions as an all-in-one workplace hub allowing employees to keep track of total hours worked, upcoming pay cycles, and access to fully detailed payment statements. 

Entrusting Google cloud base services, employee records & data is safely secured using the Firebase Cloud Database, which is widely trusted by many companies around the globe and helps this application retrieve & save data in realtime.

Production Notes

This application was designed & built using the Xamarin framework and uses C# as the primary syntax language for the applications functionally and backend design, and XAML to handle the majority of the frontend user interface design.

For the Baas (Backend-as-a-service) I've decided to use Firebase, a Google-developed mobile application development platform that helps users build & improve applications. Firebase currently handles all user sign-in authentication which allows users to sign in through either email or mobile device.
This application also uses Firebase's real-time database which syncs data across all clients in realtime, this useful feature is what allows users to retrieve and send data through the application.
